Paradise: Day 3&4

Hawaii is still Heaven on earth to me! I'm still just loving it and on day 2 we were able to really soak it in as we took it upon ourselves to make that a beach day! We just layed out on the beautiful beach and soaked in the rays! To say the least we all got burnt but it'll be worth it when we come out of it all darker than ever before! The highlight has been so far day 3 though. We took this day to go to the LDS Temple in Laie! This, for anyone who doesn't know, is a special place for us mormons. This is a very sacred place where we do a number of things including marriages and other things. I mention marriage because this was actually the temple in which my parents got married so it was special. This was also the first time that everyone in the family was able to go through the temple as I continue to prepare for my mission (by the way is 3 weeks from today!!). This temple was simply beautiful though and it was just an amazing experience!!

 

Day 4 was our tourist day haha meaning we went to this street shops called the Swap Meet and then we went to Pearl Harbor! The shopping was fun although we didn't get much it was fun to walk around in the sun and see the different Hawaiian items! It was also right outside Aloha Stadium a.k.a the stadium of the NFL Pro Bowl!! That was fun but the one thing that we bought was coconut water it was good!! We then got to go to Pearl Harbor which was a good experience just a very surreal place I guess!
