'another week at the grind'

Hello Family! This week was so great. Just another week at the grind. So this week was super interesting because Elder Moreno went about doing his Zone Leader duties and did exchanges all week so he just left Elder Sandoval and I in the area. So it started off really on Monday when we started our exchanges with the Assistants and so Elder Zelenski just came up and we had 4 of us in our area for a day on Tuesday! But Tuesday morning we had a Zone Training meeting so basically we just train on the stuff we learn in our Zone Leader Council and any skills to help in Missionary work. So it was cool I actually came up with a way to talk to people on the street. We had a couple contacts called Kikuchi (Do you Believe in God as our Heavenly Father? Do you Believe he has a plan for you? What do you think is that plan?) and Blessing Approach (offer a blessing as reps of Christ on themselves and home) and so I combined them. Basically asking them if they believe in Christ and the blessings he performed then teaching them that that authority is restored and we hold it today and extend those same blessings. It is super awesome and powerful cause no matter if they reject us they know in whom we represent and is the Center of all. It is awesome! So that was cool and we have been able to use it and feel the spirit that comes from sharing. Then I ended up getting super sick somehow. So I just got junk all up in my throat and nose and just feel gross but it was great as we still got to go out and work and visit some people despite that. So we have been fighting sicknesses and just investigators dropping us so we are basically just starting from new. Trying to find new people to teach and it is a great blessing. Although it has been slightly discouraging it really helped me to find out what a successful missionary is and really God's perspective of things. In His time really has been something big for me lately. So really that has been the biggest lesson I learned this week. Now we have Elder Moreno back for sometime and it is good and the stress has definitely alleviated itself from me. I love this work and keep on encouraging the member work. Listen to that talk a couple times and share it that will have a huge effect on the members and the youth even if they don't know it. Love you all!
